InfoStart: A course-based, multi-sensory, multi-lingual
introduction to the information riches of
The Australian National University (Part B)

This presentation will comprise a demonstration of InfoStart and a discussion of the practicalities and logistics of its development. It is a follow up demonstration to the Showcase Session 253.

The demonstration will include the virtual tours and tutorials, and the assessment modules. It will include both English and foreign-language components.

Discussion will cover development of the concept and explanation of the technology used. The software included Respondus, SnagIt, Course Genie and Captivate all of which are relatively cheap and easy to use. It will cover the rationale behind the assessment design, the nature of the project team and their skills development and the final evaluation of the project.
