  Guidelines for Showcases

Refereed and Non-refereed
20 minutes (up to 10 min presentation, 10 min discussion)

Showcase sessions provide the opportunity to demonstrate strategies or techniques for, or approaches to, teaching as well as information about programs or student learning activities. Showcases should be designed to run for a total of 20 minutes including at least 10min for discussion.

Proposals for showcases will be evaluated according to the criteria for research and scholarly papers, but with particular reference to the adequacy of the strategies proposed for making the session interactive. Authors should indicate whether any special equipment is required for the showcase, and whether the required equipment will be supplied by the author.

Authors may submit a full paper for a formal peer review process (see Information for Reviewers for criteria and standards for refereed papers) or may elect to submit a non-refereed paper which will be reviewed by the Program Committee.
