Arrival and departure
Skybus runs a shuttle from Melbourne Airport (Tullamarine) to the Melbourne Central Business District. Skybus operates seven days a week, including public holidays. The trip between Melbourne Airport and the city takes approximately 20 minutes and services depart every 10-15 minutes. SkyBus also offers free hotel transfers from Southern Cross Station to most hotels and motels within the Melbourne CBD (list of hotels and motels included in this service). The distance from Melbourne Airport to Hilton on The Park Melbourne is approximately 25kms and will cost between $48 and $70 each way.
Getting there from Melbourne CBD by tram and train
Tram numbers 48 and 75, both from Flinders Street station, stop directly in front of Hilton on The Park. The trip takes about 10 minutes. The Hilton hotel is also located opposite Jolimont railway station. Use the Viclink journey planner to help plan your trip.
Getting there by car
For delegates who will be driving to the Hilton, daily car parking is available at a discounted rate of $21 per day (normally $29 per day). To access the car park please enter the main driveway of the Hotel, located off 192 Wellington Parade, proceed down the car park ramp and take a ticket. To ensure you receive the discounted rate please proceed to the Hotel Reception desk and advise that you are attending the HERDSA conference. If you are staying in residence at the Hotel, the cost of the parking will be charged to your room account. For delegates not staying in the Hotel, the Hotel Reception staff will exchange your parking ticket for a discounted voucher.
