Showcase presentation submissions will be evidence-based and not only outline the initiative or practice being showcased but, equally, provide clear evidence of its effectiveness. Quantitative and qualitative evidence of effectiveness are equally acceptable. Please note that presentations accepted in this category are not considered refereed papers.
Proposals are to be submitted as a 250 word abstract plus further information on how the proposal fits the conference theme (up to 250 words). Please ensure that you use the Showcase Presentation template and follow the Formatting Guidelines.
The abstract should address the following:
2. The initiative/practice
3. Method(s) of evaluative data collection and analysis
4. Evidence of effectiveness
5. Conference theme(s) addressed
Abstracts will be evaluated by the Conference Organising Committee. Abstracts for showcase presentations will be reviewed against the criteria of originality, quality, relevance and standard of writing/presentation.
It is anticipated that showcases presentations will be allocated 25 minutes for presentation which will include 10 minutes for questions and discussion.
All accepted abstracts will be placed on the HERDSA website.
