Welcome to the Conference! The Welcome Reception is an ideal opportunity to catch up with your interstate colleagues and exhibitors and to meet delegates who are attending the conference for the first time.
Government House Reception

His Excellency, The Honourable Peter Underwood, AC, Governor of Tasmania, and Mrs Underwood will host a reception for delegates at Government House to mark the conference. Tasmania’s Government House is regarded as one of the best Vice-Regal residences in the Commonwealth and is one of the largest in Australia. Invitations for the Reception are issued by Government House. There is a limit to the number Government House can accommodate and delegates who register early will be given preference.

At HERDSA 2011, conference delegates went back to the 70's; now we're taking you forward a decade to celebrate all things 80's. Think fluoro, leg warmers, BIG shoulder pads, Rubik's cube, MTV, Madonna, Michael Jackson's moonwalk and Pacman to name but a few. Get your dance moves ready to party the night away to "That 80's Band".
