July in Darwin is a very busy tourist time and we recommend you book flights and accommodation as early as possible.

Travel

Conference buses will ferry participants who are staying in the CBD. It will be departing from Mantra and Holiday Inn to the conference venue at the beginning and end of each day. A schedule of times will be provided to delegates once the program is finalised. There are also regular transport buses from the CBD to the University and back.

Limited accommodation has been reserved at the hotels listed below. Please make all reservations and amendments through the Conference Secretariat, Plevin & Associates Pty Ltd. Bookings received after Monday 1 June 2009 cannot be guaranteed. Please note that in relation to the Mantra on Esplanade and Novotel Atrium the rates quoted are room rates only.

All accommodation bookings must be accompanied by a room deposit or credit card details. If paying by credit card, Plevin and Associates Pty Ltd will not process payment for accommodation. Your credit card number and the amount authorised will be forwarded to the hotel. 

Accommodation will not be reserved without an accompanying deposit.

You are responsible for paying the balance of your account directly with the hotel on departure.

Amendments and Cancellations

Any amendments or cancellations must be made through Plevin and Associates Pty Ltd in writing.  Your amendment or cancellation will be reconfirmed in writing. It is your responsibility to ensure you have received a copy of any changes requested.

Please note in the event of a cancellation, the refund of any deposits forwarded to hotels will be at the discretion of the hotel. No refunds will be made from this office.  Cancellation of bookings may be subject to fees and delegates are advised to take out insurance.
