General Information

Dialogical Space

The dialogical space is an ‘unconference’ type of session where the topics are chosen by the participants.  The aim is to promote dialogue and conversation in a relatively informal session.  In this sense the dialogical space sessions incorporate the ethos of the successful TERNZ conferences run annually by the HERDSA NZ branch over the last ten years.

Delegates wishing to propose a topic will be able to do so from two months before the conference using a web-based form.  All delegates will be able to view the proposed topics, discuss them and ‘vote’ for ones they are particularly interested in.  The sessions will be structured around the most popular topics.  The original proposer of each of the most popular topics will facilitate that session for the delegates who choose to attend.  Guidelines for facilitating sessions and participating will be provided.
