Abstract

The Flipped approach to lecturing continues to gain traction in educational institutions across the globe. What are the common elements of this approach? And what makes it superior to more tradition lecturing approaches? Is this the transformational practice needed to bring tertiary teaching and learning into the 21st century?

This session will explore these issues commencing with the examination of several video case studies drawn from the Griffith Business School, Griffith University. The aim of this session is to discuss the questions outlined above, share common practice, and seek to distil the critical elements of best practice from our discussion.
