全球化背景下高等教育范式的转向

在全球化的背景下,国家之间、高校之间、高校与政府和企事业单位之间的交流与合作日趋频繁,高等教育服务社会的职能越来越多地受制于市场的需求与政府宏观导向的影响,致使其人才培养的数量、质量、规格和模式等也面临着巨大的挑战,在办学模式与发展中多呈现出协作范式、供求范式、分流范式、领袖范式以及贫民范式等多种形式。

但是,伴随着高等教育事业的发展,以学科间合作交流为契机的国际化范式、以技能为核心的工具化范式、以领袖人才培养为取向的精英化范式以及以综合为本位的大众化范式的趋势愈加明显,并呈现出多元一体、和合共生的格局。

Transformation of Higher Education Paradigms in the Context of Globalization

Abstract

In the context of globalization, exchange and cooperation among countries, tertiary institutions and those between tertiary institutions, governments and enterprises are rapidly increased. The role of higher education for serving the society is subjected to influences of market demands and macro-orientation of governments. Such change brings enormous challenges to the paradigm of cultivating talents in terms of quantity, quality and standards. This leads to emergence of cooperative, demand and supply, distributary, leadership and poverty paradigms in modes and development of higher education.

However, a tendency of an international paragdigm based on inter-disciplinary cooperation, a skill-based instrumental paradigm, an elite paradigm oriented towards cultivating leaders and a popularized comprehensive-based paradigm surfaces in the development of higher education. This shows a general picture of pluralistic integration and symbiotic relationship between harmony and cooperation.
