Registration is now open for the HERDSA 2025 Annual Conference.
Registration fees are based on the date of receipt of payment (not the registration date). All prices are in Australian dollars (AUD) and include 10% Australian Goods and Services Tax (GST).

Anyone who registers for onsite attendance, but then at a later date is unable to travel to the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre, will be transferred over to a virtual conference registration type and will be refunded* the difference in price up until 5pm Friday 18 June 2025. *See cancellations and refund policy below for specific details on our refund polices.
HERDSA is excited to announce that group registration discounts will now be available for the 2025 conference.
Groups over 20 delegates will receive a 5% discount.
To be eligible for these group discounts, all delegates must be from the same institution, be registered via the group registration portal and only applies to full onsite registrations. The discount is only applicable to the conference registration fee. There is no discount on workshop or social function tickets.
The virtual program is separate to the onsite program and will run for one-day only, on Tuesday 8 July 2025. Virtual delegates will also be given access to watch all onsite keynote presentations either live through the virtual conference portal or on-demand at a later date. The virtual conference portal will remain open for three months post conference for unlimited on-demand viewing.

Full non-member onsite registrations also include a 12 month HERDSA membership.
Day onsite registrations include:
Dinner tickets for full delegates are available for the subsidised price of $80 per person.
Guests and one day delegates may purchase a dinner ticket for $180 per person.
Delegates may attended an onsite workshop for $85 per person. The cost includes morning tea or afternoon tea. Delegates who register for the full day TATAL workshop will be entitled to morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea.
Accommodation and travel expenses are additional to the registration fees.
Virtual registrations includes:
*Virtual delegates will have access to the one-day virtual conference program and all onsite keynote presentations. They will not be able to watch any of the onsite concurrent sessions.
When you register online, you will receive confirmation of your registration straight away via email including a tax invoice.
If you do not receive this confirmation email please first check your spam folder then contact the conference organiser via herdsa@expertevents.com.au.
All payments must be in Australian dollars (AUD). Payment may be made by:
Credit card – MasterCard or Visa.
Note that payments will appear as Expert Events on your credit card statement.
Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT). Details provided on tax invoice.
Payment is due 14 days from the date of registration or prior to the commencement of the conference (whichever is first). If you are seeking the early registration rate, payment must be made prior to the early registration deadline.
Cancellations must be advised in writing to the conference organiser.
Registration cancellations received by 5pm on Friday 18 April 2025 will receive a refund of registration fees, less an administrative charge of AUD110.
Registration cancellations received after 5pm on Friday 18 April 2025 but prior to 5pm on Friday 6 June 2025, will receive a refund of 50% of registration fees paid and 100% of any function tickets paid.
Cancellations received after 5pm on Friday 6 June 2025 will not be eligible for a refund.
Anyone who registers for onsite attendance, but then at a later date is unable to travel to the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre, will be transferred over to a virtual conference registration type and will be refunded* the difference in price up until 5pm Friday 18 June 2025. Any onsite registrations which transfer over to a virtual registration type after 5pm on Friday 18 June 2025 will not be eligible for a refund of the price difference between registration types.
Registrations are transferable to a colleague at any time prior to the event provided the HERDSA 2025 conference organiser is advised in writing.
